About Me

I’m Brayden, also known as arithmophobia or just ari, just a guy who builds cars in his free time. I specialize in Toyota specifically, and my greatest quality is finding weirdo parts to hodge-podge together from different cars. A short history of the cars I’ve owned, in the order I’ve purchased them in:

1993 Toyota MR2, NA chassis - Gen2 turbo swapped when I bought it. Gen3 swapped later down the line, then 2GR.

1994 BMW 325i sedan - Purchased with a cracked cylinder head. Rebuilt the M50 in my dorm bathroom, sold the car

1978 Datsun 280Z - Intended to Vortec 4200 swap, landlords sold the house, had to downsize.

2009 Toyota Matrix 1.8 - Daily, rolled it

2005 Saab 9-2x - tired EJ253, slow but reliable enough

1988 Toyota MR2 - got halfway through a 2ZZ swap, bailed and parted out to focus on 2GR SW20

1996 Toyota RAV4 - 1AR-FE swapped, 4wd manual

Feel free to shoot me any questions you have about the above cars! I’d be happy to go in more detail about them or try and answer any questions about the above engines and chassis.
